King Thayo is a dynamic artist whose music transcends traditional genre boundaries. His upbringing in St. Augustine and Santa Rosa Heights, Arima, immersed him in a rich tapestry of musical influences, from the jazz sessions of his father, Ainsworth Ovid, a keyboardist and arranger, to the rhythms of reggae, hip-hop, and soul.
