John is a 3-time Grammy Nominated\, Blues Hall of Fame\, Chicago Blues\, Living Legend and undisputedly one of the men who helped shape the sound & style of Chicago blues as we know it today. Steve is a Chicago Blues Hall of Fame\, Master Harmonica player taught by his father\, Blues Hall of Fame artist\, Carey Bell. He has not only taken all that his father taught him\, but has established his own very unique sound of his own. He is like a blues harmonica train\, so hold on tight he’ll take you for a ride! \nBen Rice & The PDX Hustle features the “quiet & unassuming – until he picks up a guitar” Ben\, a.k.a The Blues Ninja. While Ben started in traditional blues\, over the years he’s built upon that foundation with soul\, R&B\, folk and country to fashion a welcoming front porch where everybody wants to hang out into the wee hours\, hence the leap from Northwest act to national and international touring artist\, featuring at festivals and stages far and wide. In 2023 Ben added horns\, vocal harmonies\, piano and organ to his lineup for a larger\, more energetic band that he calls Ben Rice & The PDX Hustle. \n\nKivett Bednar Band features guitarist/vocalist Kivett\, who grew up in Austin\, steeped in the Texas blues tradition. Sneaking into Antone’s to hear the greats\, practicing to his dad’s old records\, and honing his chops at Berklee incubated an award-winning sound that is gritty\, heartfelt and distinctly his own.
